Main Accountabilities:
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning of the business units.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for DX, AHUs, FAHU, MAHU, FCUs.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Excellent knowledge in control wiring and electrical fault rectifications
• Hands on experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in the HVAC system.
• Team player and control the team and schedule the work to the designated team members.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with the queries from the business unit
• Examining domestic appliances like refrigerators, burners and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns and resolve the issues.
• Conduct proactive maintenance for the domestic equipment to increase the asset lifetime.
• Intermediate knowledge in plumbing system
Job specification:
• High school diploma, or IT with HVAC refrigeration as main
• 3 to 5 year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue studies in HVAC field.
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
• Skilled experience in the field of chilled water units ( FCU, FAHU, AHU, MAHU) and refrigeration units ( domestic fridge).
• Proficient knowledge in the chiller system.
• Above average communication skills in English, Hindi.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work across multi-cultural / multi-national environments
