As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our staff, students, and faculty. Your expertise in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues will ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Provide timely and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software problems, including printers and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and updates.
Assist in managing user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
Respond to IT support requests through a ticketing system and ensure prompt resolutions.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network security measures.
Conduct training sessions for staff and students on utilizing technology effectively.
Perform regular maintenance and updates of computers and network systems.
Monitor the school’s IT inventory and assist with procuring IT equipment.
Maintain data backups and ensure data security and confidentiality.
Assist in setting up audiovisual equipment for presentations and events.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar technical support role.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments.
Familiarity with network protocols and basic network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and educational software applications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
