The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Reporting to the Telecommunications Team Leader, the Guest Service Assistant is responsible for the speedy and courteous answering of all calls both internally and externally and transferring them as requested.
Responding to e-mail instructions and enquiries
Record and action all guest requests e.g. Wake Up Calls
Ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications.
High School graduate
Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or • Diploma or Certificate in Secretarial is preferred.
Previous work experience in a customer service industry
1 year previous experience in a Switchboard or Call Canter environment of a customer service provider
1 year previous Switchboard, Reservations or Call Centre
Basic knowledge of use of Ms Office Applications
Good command of English (spoken & written).
