A well reputed construction company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a waterproofing supervisor.

The candidate must have 5-7 years of UAE/GCC experience in waterproofing works related to substation, infrastructure & water pipe line projects.

Job Description:

•Cleaning and preparing surfaces for application of sealants or other waterproofing materials
•Inspecting roofs and other structures to identify leaks or damage that may require repair before applying a waterproofing product
•Applying waterproofing materials to structures such as roofs, concrete slabs, foundations, or decks
•Inspecting the material after installation to ensure that it was applied correctly
•Cleaning up spills or other accidents that may occur during the application process
•Coordinating with architects on design decisions related to waterproofing materials
•Inspecting the condition of existing waterproofing materials as needed to determine when they need to be reapplied
•Installing new roofing systems, including custom designs to meet specific needs
•Applying liners to walls or floors to prevent water damage from seeping into areas where it is not desired such as inside wall cavities or underneath floors
•Design and building forms. Set up the forms. Pour concrete. Use wire mesh to reinforce the concrete. Spread and smooth concrete. Mould expansion joints and edges. Use stains or colors to add the finishing touch.

Qualification:

•Diploma Civil/Mechanical Engineering
•GCC/UAE experience in the installation of Waterproofing and waterproofing system in accordance with the established procedures and practices.
•Candidates should possess Waterproofing certificate from Authorized agency.
•Candidates should possess valid fire watcher certificate from Authorized agency.
