Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare menu items as ordered by guests according to portion control, standard operating procedures and follow food handling safety requirements.
Communicate shortage of menu items to Kitchen Manager immediately.
Labels and dates all food products in storage and chiller/freezer areas appropriately.
Arrange daily deliveries from Suppliers in their designated chillers & freezers.
Places soiled crockeries & cutleries in the dishwasher as needed (especially when cleaners are conducting other tasks).
Cleans food preparation equipment and work areas according to health and safety guidelines.
Sweeps and mops (deep cleans) the kitchen floor at the end of their shift.
Completes Opening & Closing duties in accordance with approved procedures.
Reports any health and safety concerns immediately to the Manager on Duty.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
