• Welcomes customers by determining their coffee/tea interests and needs

• Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients

• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards

• Serve customers quickly and efficiently

• Properly handle and maintain all equipment

• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings

• Keep the bar area clean

• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates

• Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu.

• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.

• Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs.

• Promotes coffee/tea consumption by educating customers; preparing and serving a variety of drinks, along with pastries and cookies.

• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee/tea drink menu; answering questions

• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for both hot & cold drinks, coffee drinks, such as, espresso, espresso lungo, caffe latte, and cappuccino, mojito, milkshakes etc

• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products

• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations

• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar

• Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

• Observe relevant health and safety standards

• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.
