Key responsibilities
• Develop the catering services provision concept and align it with key stakeholders.
• Organize provision of Catering services during the FWC and supplementary events.
• Establish working relationships with key stakeholders (including relevant Qatar state authorities).
• Control and coordinate catering layouts located at venues.
• Ensure the efficient level of functional and venue planning.
• Organize and control the efficient system of recruiting and training of catering personnel
• Interact with all the FWC customer groups and internal functions and stands as the main contact with respect to the catering services.
• Participate in the budgeting process at all stages from development to execution.
• Project budgeting, reporting and post-Event debriefing for the Catering Project, across all Venues.
• Any other duties that may be required.

Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Hospitality Management
• A minimum experience of 4 years in catering services at international sport events.
• Strong record of experience in organizing catering services for complex sport events.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• High level of presentation and negotiating skills.
• Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes is an added benefit.
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
• Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Must be fluent in English, other languages are an added benefit.
• Ability to work both independently and lead a team.
• Exceptional planning, organizational and administrative skills.
• Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility when faced with ambiguity or constant change.
