1) Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel safe and valued.
2) Monitoring and assessing student progress and writing up reports.
3) Ensuring classroom supplies and equipment are available and in working condition.
4) Updating records on the school database and handling various other administrative tasks.
Montessori Teacher Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree in early childhood teaching, education, or a related discipline is recommended.
2) Completed training at an accredited Montessori Center.
3) Additional courses or training in education would be advantageous.
4) An ability to teach groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilities.
5) Patience and excellent observational, communication, and diagnostic skills.
6) Excellent planning and organizational skills.
