Hiring “Officer Facility Management”

Responsibilities
1. Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including Cleaning, Maintenance, Safety and Security and ensuring that basic facilities such as water and heating, are well-maintained.

2. Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology etc.

3. Supervising FM Budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness and ensuring that all facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.

4. Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness and helping businesses to relocate to new offices and to make decisions about leasing.

5. Coordinating all installations and refurbishments, overseeing building projects, renovations and supervising the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.

6. Supervise all staff facilities (Offices, workshops, stores etc.) and external contractors. Allocate office space according to needs. Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.

7. Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements, conduct and document regular facilities inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards and relevant industry codes.

8. Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking. Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.

9. Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness. Liaises with the Building Maintenance Staff to ensure that a high quality- environment is maintained.

10. Supervise and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met. Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met. Check completed work by contractors and vendors, verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing.

11. Coordinating and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling. Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels. Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff.

12. Monitor and handling of expenses and payments, generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases.

13. Perform analysis and forecasting, prepare and track facility budget, develop and implement cost reduction initiative.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or
Equivalent / Higher Qualifications in any Technical field.

05 to 06 years UAE experience in Management of Admin-Facilities and Support Services functions especially in a large Telecommunication environment shall be an advantage.
