We are hiring an Optometrist for Moorfields Eye Hospital Centre, in Abu Dhabi.

The Optometrist Provides a full range of optometric services and works independently

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or an equivalent qualification (minimum three (3) years duration) is required
Current national professional registration is required
Two years of post-graduate experience in a field in a relevant setting Examine eyes using observation, instruments, and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, ocular motility and coordination, and to detect signs of eye diseases and other abnormalities.
Specialty in one or more of pediatrics, contact lenses, or vision rehabilitation.
Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
Strong oral and written communication skills
The ability to speak and write in English is required
The ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
