The Role

Responsible for invoicing customers and administering the cash registry.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

– Greets customers and handle phone inquiries and direct calls to concerned parties – Scans products and collects payments – Handles cash, credit or check transactions with customers – Issues receipts and process refunds as per company policy – Bags items carefully and properly – Tallies money in cash register by the beginning and end of each day and reviews against issued receipts – Cross-sells products and encourages customers to purchase complementary items – Records sales transactions on a sales system – Prepares daily and monthly reports for the direct manager in order to track sales – Assists in stocking shelves in the showroom and ensures barcode labels are correctly added – Maintains cleanliness of showroom and display shelves at all times – Opens up and shuts down showroom.
