We are currently hiring a Project Manager MEP. The ideal candidate must have 8 – 10 years within the Fit out industry.

Responsibilities:
– Awareness of the Company Work Values, Quality Policy Statement, HSE Policy Statement, and all safety related aspects.
– Ensure progress of work is achieved through safety standards and quality requirements.
– Adhere to site rules and regulations.
– Effective and timely project mobilization, ensuring that the project team is well briefed.
– Ensure availability of all permits for accessing the site from the authorities in coordination with our technical design team, design team and the PRO engineers.
– Ensure that the project program of works and the procurement schedule are in place.
– Ensure timely availability of all resources (including long lead and project specified material) at site.
– Ensure that RFI’s, CVI’s and variations identified at site are maintained, recorded and acted in a timely manner.
– Ensure client payment demands are raised as per the terms of the contract.
– Ensure a weekly progress report is sent to the client in the agreed format with progress pictures included.
– Ensure that quality and labour productivity is as per standards.
– Ensure that the necessary technical information is conveyed by the site team to other stakeholders of the company.
– Ensure all the documents, submittals and approvals from and to the site are monitored and recorded properly.
– Chair internal and external meetings and ensure that the minutes are maintained.
– Monitor and control changes internally and externally.
– Ensure that there are regular visits and checks by the quality and safety team and the set standards are maintained at site.
– Ensure that a HSE report is issued to the site weekly.
– Ensure Letter of Guarantee/Letter of Credit/Insurance are requested and arranged as per the requirement.
– Ensure that the work on site is executed as per targets and all payments are received from the client for the executed work.
– Effective management and control of subcontractors.
– Effective supplier/subcontractor (internal/external) performance evaluation/rating.
– Ensure the issuance of the O&M manuals to the client, landlord and FM team.
– Ensure in liaison with the technical team that the As?built drawings are completed in a timely manner.
– Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders (internal & external) and follow up on progress deliverables and delays, if any.
– Ensure effective communication with the line manager.
– Ensure awareness and necessary execution towards attaining “Zero?Snags”.
– Other duties according to job description.
