Duties and Responsibility
• Post job ads and organize resumes and job applications
• Arrange job interviews and assist in the interview process
• Ensure background and reference checks are completed
• Prepare new employee files and maintain current HR files and databases by recording terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
• Orient new employees to the organization (set up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.
• Update and maintain employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
• Responsible for up-to-date employment contracts and offers of employment
• Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
• Maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
• Perform payroll/benefit-related reconciliations
• Perform payroll and benefits audits and recommend any correction action
• Complete termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews
• Develop and implement company HR Policies, strategies and procedures
• Continually review legislation to ensure all policies and procedures are compliant
• Document human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Stay up-to-date on UAE Labor Law and work in close co-ordination with the company’s PRO
Qualifications
• Must have knowledge of UAE Labor Law
• Must have UAE experience as an HR/ Admin
• Must have strong oral and written English communication skills
• Must have good and interpersonal and organizational skills
• Has the ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
