Cashiers should have a good attitude towards serving customers .Hard-working, positive and optimistic personality is needed .In addition, a habit of paying attention to details is essential, since you should handle money everyday.

Cashier Responsibilities:

Warmly welcome customers with a good knowledge of ongoing promotions, item locations, and other knowledge of the store.
Use scanning machine and register effectively, and make sure that the amount of the money and the prices match each other, the number of the items are correct, and receipts should be given to customers.
Reports of the debit or credit card purchase needs to be kept daily, hygiene or the station needs to be kept, as well as make sure that changes are in the register at necessary time.
Refunds, exchanges and complaints also needs to be solved with a good attitude.
Put goods into the bags for customers if there is no helper.
Ongoing activities: coupons, discounts, and scorecards etc, cashier must have knowledge and process according to store plans.
