Cook Helper / Kitchen Helper

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Performing various duties to maintain kitchen work area and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition
Sweep and mop floors
Load and unload the truck, pick up delivery supplies and food
Wash and peel vegetables using the knife
Set up banquet tables
Transfer supplies between storage and work areas by hand
Hold inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surface
Washpot, pan, and tray by hand
Steam clean or clean garbage cans

Assisting head cook in preparing juice, meats, fruits, and preserves
Weighing and measuring ingredients using platform scale and measuring container
Transferring material to the cooking area by hand
Cleaning the cooking kettles and container using water and pressurized steam
Stir the content in the cooking kettle using a ladle or spoon
May stack and tally containers
Maintain the work area and equipment
Collect and store the leftover
Manage inventory.
