We’re looking to hiring Waste Management Supervisor 

Position Summary:
To implement and maintain Company’s Waste Management System under the overall umbrella of Al Barakah Holding QHSES-MS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise WM regulatory and legal compliance requirements (e.g., Tadweer (CWM), OSHAD FR, EAD, ADM, etc.).
• Handle Bolasity System for E-Manifestation system.
• Prepare and implement Waste Management Plan.
• Maintaining waste management record keeping.
• Supervise and implement waste segregation requirements.
• Supervise Waste management contractual requirements.
• Maintain close coordination with ESPs.
• Supervise waste management team, subordinates, and their routine and non-routine activities and duty schedules.
• Supervise and provide waste management training & competencies requirements (in-house and/or 3rd party).
• Conduct and supervise waste management inspections and compliance monitoring programmes.
• Provide support for WM audits, certifications and accreditation programmes (internal, external, 3rd party).
• Supervise and conduct waste management/ environmental impact related incidents investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions and lessons learnt.
• Supervise and maintain WM emergency preparedness & response programmes.
• Maintain liaising with WM local authorities on relevant updates, trainings, workshops, etc(e.g. Tadweer, ADM,etc).
• Supervise waste management selection & control of subcontractors/suppliers.
• Supervise and maintain waste management reports and recordkeeping, dashboards and ERPs.
• Supervise and maintain WM KPIs and SLAs; including benchmarking and continual improvement programmes and plans.
• Supervise and enforce PPE standards across the board.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in the relevant field.
Work Experience:
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience in similar role in Property Development & Facilities Management (Waste management requirements in Abu Dhabi, waste segregation, waste skips/container color coding, knowledge of various waste type and its disposal process “recyclable, non-recyclable and hazardous waste storage and disposal” , Contractual requirements with ESPs, Coordination with ESPs, etc.)
Preferred/Plus:
• NEBOSH IGC Certificate (UK’s National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
• Internal Auditor Certificate in ISO 9001 or 45001 or 14001.
