SALARY : AED 4,000-6000 (depending on experience + UAE Labor benefits)
An ideal candidate would be a seasoned accountant having expert knowledge of book keeping principles, complete cycle of accounting from preparing chart of accounts to consolidation and expert financial analysis.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primary responsibility is manage proper accounting books and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
• Analyze assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly bank/ account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements analysis on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Prepare tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
• Assist with quarterly group financial reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Other projects as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:
• Strong understanding of accounting theory
• 5+ years advanced accounting/finance experience
• Experience in the F&B restaurants industry preferred
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
• Proficiency with email and advanced Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA (part qualified with full articleship) preferred
• ERP implementation/ user experience for consolidation (Preferably NAV)
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
