DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Schedules roast to ensure smooth production flow to meet inventory requirements
– Set up and monitor each roast, making adjustments to roaster settings as needed to ensure roasting quality standards
– Conduct quality tests on all roasts
– Set up regular sensory evaluations (Coffee cupping) with the team to ensure quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Prior experience in roasting coffee in production or retail environment is required
– Minimum 3 years of experience in Specialty Coffee
– Must have certification in Roasting or any related field
– Passion for cupping, tasting, and evaluating your work is a must
– Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness, and check signage and labeling for accurate pricing
– Proven success at engaging and influencing fellow team members and customers to share your passion for products
– Experience with and strong desire to increase knowledge of – Proven proficiency at following directions and established recipes
