- Receive queries and support requests from users and document, prioritize, and track requests and take necessary action as required.
- Ensure on-going usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
- Identify network problem areas, provide solutions to user problems or refer to other IT advisers or vendors as appropriate.
- Liaise with IT counterparts on server and network issues including server and network configuration and problem resolution.
- Diagnosing hardware and software problems and troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks, operating systems, printers/scanners/copiers.
- Liaise with 3rd parties when necessary to troubleshoot, install or maintain software (Dubai Trade System, Depot system etc.).
- Provide online/remote support to remote users and visit the off-site facilities as required to meet user needs/problems.
Installation and configuration of HW/SW and User Accounts - Configuration efficiency.

- Install and configure workstations, telephones and peripheral equipment when required, establishing system specifications by conferring with users/departments and in line with the workflow, access, information, and security requirements for the role. Install, maintenance, backup of CCTV Camera footages regularly.
- Configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software and interconnect workstations, terminals and existing data networks.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administrative systems including associated validation systems.
- Ensure system upgrades as required and directed by the manager by testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
Backing up and Restoring Files Monitoring and tuning performance - Procedure compliance.

- Accuracy of inventory control records
- Undertake the day to day operation of backup systems including rotation of backup tapes.
- Perform routine network start-up and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
- Conduct training and familiarisation sessions for staff the computer network as required as well as provide advice on hardware and software upgrades.
- Maintain and track inventory of equipment and supplies (accessories, cables, adapters, etc.) ensuring that equipment are tagged.
Manage company website
- Timeliness of updating the website - Update the company’s website with approved content, graphics, pictures etc. As required.
- Renew , maintain web hosting agreements with vendors.
Requirements:
Knowledge on Windows Active Directory, Firewall, Router, Switches, CCTV is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree with CCNA
