Required Aluminium Fabricator for a Shipping Company

Experience : 3 years in marine industry

Job Description
• Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
• Study and interpret assembly instructions.
• Fabricate and assemble structural metal products.
• Operate equipment, including but not limited to lathes, mills, drill press, press-breaks, shears, and cutting tables.
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
• Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
• Draw guide lines or markings on materials or workpieces using patterns or other references
Requirements
• 2 years’ experience in fabricating steel and welding field preferred, or ability to demonstrate proficiency.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, stick for steel, SS, and Aluminium.
• Ability to read blueprints or follow technical specifications.
