Select, measure and mark appropriate materials for interior paneling and trims
Cut and shape materials and join them using glue, nails, screws and bolts
Develop work plans and ensure that they are adhered to during each shift
Cut, shape and assemble wood and plastic sections using shop tools and equipment
Use a variety of tools such as table saws, sheet sanders, nail guns, utility knives and carpenter squares to perform finishing duties
Perform wood floor lamination and install hand rails and bathroom accessories
Supervise the work of student carpenters and / or apprentices in the absence of the lead carpenter or supervisor.
