Interior Designer

Role

• Set costs and project fees according to budget.
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing.
• Advise client on interior design factors such as planning, layout and use of furnishings or equipment, and colour coordination.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, mechanical and structural engineers, and other members of the project team to create and implement a design plan.
• Research and follow industry changes, evolution and best practices.

requirements

• 5+ years’ professional experience
• Advanced degree in Interior Design
• Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies in the UAE market.
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills
• Proven track record of success in maintaining and growing client relationships
• Local knowledge of UAE market, clients and suppliers
• A desire to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadership
• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software.
