Job brief:
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to maintenance & trouble shooting of electrical components & control panels of different machines. Main equipment at plant are overhead cranes, rotor blasting machine, furnace, pumps etc.

Responsibilities:
• Trouble shooting of VFD Drives, control panels, control loops
• Working knowledge of PLC systems & troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting and fault identification of single phase & 3 phase motors
• Functional testing of different equipment at site and troubleshooting if required
• Maintaining maintenance records
• Schedule & Plan preventive maintenance activities to reduce break downs of machines
• Identifying critical spare parts and maintaining their inventories to reduce break down time.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electrician in maintenance
• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
