Purpose of the job and description: To produce robust and bug free applications in order to maintain quality standard products

Duties and Responsibilities:

Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop.
Apply and maintain quality standards for company products.
Executes software test plans under general supervision of senior engineer.
Assist in developing test plans.
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Reports based on bugs and other system checkups to management and users.
Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Assist in designing, coding and executing automated test scripts.
Conducts functional and test process consulting and coordinates testing groups.
Documents and tracks product testing results.
Performs an QA tasks as assigned by Quality Assurance Sr. Engineer or Consultant
Ability to write and execute SQLs (intermediate level) in MySQL
Create and execute test scripts that satisfies the story acceptance criteria. This will include writing SQL to verify data was successfully saved in the database

Technologies: Java, Oracle 11/12, SOAP, JIRA,.Net

Knowledge and Skills: Proficient computer software skills; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Assist in the development of the long-term strategy for QA testing, automation testing, load testing and QA best practice

Salary: An industry standard salary based on the experience.
