Junior Chemist – Soil Investigation & Material Testing

Performs chemical analysis for soil, concrete, aggregates and ground water
– Water soluble and acid extract analysis for Sulfate and Chloride content
– Carbonate Content
– Organic Matter Content
– Total Dissolved Solids (Water)
– pH level determination
• Steel chemical analysis using spectrometer
• Reagents preparation and standardization
• Conducts Rapid Chloride Permeability (RCP) testing for concrete
• Chemical test results calculation and preparation of laboratory reports
• Responsible for chemical/apparatus stock register checking and inventory
• Carry out equipment calibration, daily quality checking, updating quality records and laboratory management
