Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Research Concept and materials to support design team on technical Issues influencing concept development
• Programming and needs analysis Develop creative solutions based on customer needs
• Create drawings in AutoCAD and/or CET (typical furniture plans, 3D’s)
• Maintenance of internal reporting systems, i.e. time sheets and project files
• Adhere to deadlines of key deliverables
• Prepare installation drawings and supporting documents (specs)
• Identify areas that need field verification and coordinate actual dimensions with final plan
• Select furniture, materials, décor and finishes while keeping in budget
• Continuing education related to product updates and industry trends
• Create specifications and .sif files (including key schedules and tagging)
• Revise drawings and specs (including .sif) when required
• Space planning to meet the customer’s requests using standards if applicable Project meetings with customers when required.
Skill Set Experience

• 5-year UAE experience relevant interior design experience on Hotels and Resorts is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
• Some CAP and/or CET experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• In depth knowledge of furniture systems and finishes
• Proven organizational and follow-through skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to develop and present design concepts
