Job Summary
Manage installation and perform maintenance, service repairs and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities include equipment installation; preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions and repairs; and other mechanical related work as assigned.
MUST HAVE CARPENTRY AND PAINTING SKILLS.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers
Travel to different job sites to perform assigned job orders
Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is need to correct
Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary
Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
Ensure calibration of thermostats and other controls
Perform checks on motors and belts and handle lubrication duties
Change filters and replace any parts as they wear out
Repair motors and service steam and hot water boilers
Ensure that chemical compositions in equipment are adequate at all times
Handle conduit running for HVAC equipment
Demonstrate Teamwork sprit to ensure positive working environment. Every member is expected to respect and support other team members

Well groomed, neat appearance, might require uniform dress code commitment
Minimum of 240 Split AC units to be cleaned in a month
Fast service; clean each unit in 30 minutes
Deliver outstanding service quality/repetitive customers
On-time service, No delays to customer appointments
Ensure Equipment reliability by proper cleaning and disinfection
Ensure operational risk reduction, NO damages of customer furniture
Minimize usage of chemicals and protective materials
Desired Profile
Technical diploma or equivalent. A Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an added advantage
2 to 3 years’ experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues
Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations
English language skills
Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
