- Oversees all architectural teams in project-in-charge;
- Works closely with Team Leaders to highlight discrepancies in drawings or lacking areas to ensure smooth delivery of project;
- Liaises with contractors and consultants on work site;
- Reviews shop drawings, RFI, material samples, method statement, etc;
- Liaises with design team on design, coordination issues;
- Attends meetings with design team and coordinates with all disciplines involved in projects (e.g. architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical, interior design and landscaping);
- Coordinates site inspection and authority clearances;
- Oversees and monitor progress of on-site work and resolves any arising issues;
- Perform administrative role required by the respective form of contract.
Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Architecture;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural practice preferred;
- Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices;
- Good flair in design, ability to sketch fast and produce good design concepts;
- Conversant with local codes and regulations;
- Good interpersonal skills;
