Senior Kitchen Designer is responsible to work as per client need and requirement he will be working with the client on all designing aspects of creating, remodeling or updating the kitchen area.
Ensure that the projects remain the budget, suggestion on particular kitchen accessories as per the drawings and the layouts.
He should be having sharp knowledge on creativity along with strong communication aspect to convey verbally and transpose it visually during the meetings to meet the client’s requirements.
Equipped in drafting and layout skills based on the industry trends, need to convey important design ideas and instructions to both contractors and the clients.
Administrative knowledge is necessary because of handling much of the paper work, forms, billing and files for the clients.
Kitchen designers create kitchens for clients, including cabinets and appliances. They use their skills to determine clients project goals, prepare final plans and create a timeline for the project.
Kitchen designers must make sure the equipment’s are functional, convenient, and comfortable as per the Chef requirement. Be an in depth source of knowledge of food service kitchen design and equipment by understanding the affect differing concepts, menus and space, will play in the design and function of the kitchen.
Provide client detailed Auto Cad drawings and equipment’s schedules for food service establishments by listening to their wants and needs or consulting with them and / or their architect of Contractor.
Provide equipment specifications to estimation and sales department. Responsible for the utility requirement for the food service equipment’s by providing specification sheets or by rough in drawings
Ensure the client is equipped with detail instruction manuals by directing the contract with design assistant in the assembly of a booklet containing the aforementioned.
Requirements
Should have atleast 5 years hands-on work experience in the same position from reputable Kitchen Contractor. Must have a Degree / Diploma in Engineering/Computer Applications/Architecture / Interior Design with thorough knowledge of design software like AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop, KCL Masterchef. Must have strong active listening skills so that they can make sure their designs meet the clients' needs.
