Senior Civil Structural Engineer to be based on site.
You must have 10-15 years of experience in project management and supervision of civil /structural activities and should have experience to work as a team member in an international design consulting company in the field building.
Experience in desalination plant is a must
Job Duties:
• Generally, supervise, review, monitor and report on progress of the road and associated works.
• Observing the safety procedures followed by the contractor.
• Issuing instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.
• Attending weekly, monthly and other progress meetings held at the site as required. Review the contractor’s progress.
• Identifying constraints and recommend corrective measures.
• Remaining vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities and monitor the supervision consultant staff performance & their compliance with agreement terms.
• Assisting with preparation and transmittal of site directions and instructions.
Qualifications and requirements:
• Minimum Qualification Bachelor’s degree
• Must have ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports etc.
• Accuracy and precision of work.
• Must be a self-starter and possess leadership qualities.
• Able to interface with both clients and other inter-office discipline at a senior level.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Accountability for assigned work. Must have experience in project management and supervision for at least 10 years.
• The ability to interpret Civil/Structural /Architectural and MEP drawings.
• Should be capable to interpret and analyze geotechnical report.
