Accountant

We are a trading company looking for an experienced Accountant.
Candidate must possess –
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proactive with good interpersonal skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Must be able to develop good working relationships
• Must maintain professionalism at all times and dedicated to outstanding performance
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Should have sound working knowledge of accounting principles and terms along with hands-on experience
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of accounting software & MS Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Duties & Responsibilities –
• Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Liaising with external auditors
• Handling petty cash, recording in the books of accounts
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
