Office and Travel Manager

Key tasks and Responsibilities

Ensuring that the secretariat runs smoothly with good communication flow particularly with the project manager and managing daily operational performance of all administrative tasks including travel management, meeting and event planning, establishing.
8. Maintaining a team calendar, handling correspondence for the project manager and the entire project is done professionally.

Required qualifications, competences and experience.

Qualifications

* University degree in office management/administration or similar area.

* Fluent in English is mandatory, fluent in German is a distinctive asset.

Professional experience

* At least 3 years professional experience in a comparable position.

Other knowledge, additional competences

* Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)

* Good management and organisational skills.

* Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed corresponding.

* Measures are agreed with management

* Willingness to do duty trips to Germany and Afghanistan on request.

* Prior working experience in the UAE is a distinctive asset.
