Duties and Responsibilities as Site Architect
• Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
• Supervises implementation of project construction plan.
• Conducts cost control.
• Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
• Plan layout of project.
• Prepare scale drawings.
• Integrate engineering element into unified design.
• Ensure compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control and best practices.
• Interacts with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of structure.
• Attend field reviews, on-site meetings and project meetings and coordinate schedule reviews and submit samples.
• Prepare operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports.
• Perform project research and support Project Manager on project implementation.
• Observance of safety requirements.
• Resolving technical issues.
• Liaising with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements.
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Job review of subordinate staff.
• Performs other duties that are deemed required or necessary.
