IT System and Network engineer required for IT Company
We have vacancy in IT department, this is the ideal role for a dedicated IT support professional looking to develop their career and enhance their prospects with an exciting and highly successful company.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing key IT support to customers throughout the UAE across a wide range of Windows-based systems.
Supporting customer systems via email, telephone and remote connection, you'll troubleshoot any queries and provide valuable 1st and 2nd line support. You'll also travel to customer sites throughout the UAE and perform on-site technical support tasks.
Creating detailed documentation for both internal and customer systems, you'll maintain an accurate record of work and system changes. Additionally, you will build and maintain LAN and private cloud servers and ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least two years’ experience gained in an IT support role
- Solid experience of installing and configuring firewalls, network switches, desktop computers, laptops, server hardware, storage devices (including NAS drives).
- A good working knowledge of IP networking, Terminal Services, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, VPN, IIS and RAID
- A Microsoft technical certification, such as an MCP, MCSA, MCSE or MCITP qualification Experience in Exchange Server, Backup Server and SQL Server CCNA and CCNP is an advantage. - PABX and IP Phone setup experience (Panasonic, NEC and Avaya) As an IT Support Engineer, you must possess fantastic communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Professional and proactive, you must also be an adaptable team player with great customer service skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
Knowledge of ERP software would be beneficial to your application, as would any formal project management certifications, Experience of SQL database management or providing Microsoft Access database support would be advantageous, as would experience of MS 365 email and Office deployments and SharePoint administration. Good hands on experience to install and configure Firewall (Sonicwall and Cyberoam)
A proven track record of DNS administration, Hyper-V, VMware, network migrations and green field network commissioning would be equally favourable.
