Plant Manager

A Reputed Ready-Mix Concrete Plant in Doha is looking to fill the following position immediately.
Plant Manager
Role & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for leading, planning, directing, coordinating and controlling all activities of the Batching plant.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance and maintain safe working environment.
• Identify appropriate material to produce quality material per job specifications.
• Perform daily equipment site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipments properly maintained.
• Control and minimize plant costs while providing a consistent quality product.
• Monitor production levels and adjust production as needed.
• Communicate with quality control personnel and make required adjustments to material blends.
• Monitor inventory levels of all mix materials to ensure no depletion during production demand.
• Lead personnel at plant and work with dispatch to schedule drivers.
• Monitor plant site to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Monitor and discuss production problems with managers / supervisors.
• Communicate effectively to maintain positive customer relations and act respectful of others.
• Accurately complete plant reports and other documentation as needed.
Qualifications & Skills required:
• Bachelor of Engineering- Major Civil or Chemical, or a High Education Degree from Technical University or Equivalent in related field.
• Minimum 10-15 years experience as a Ready Mix concrete Plant Manager.
• Excellent Communication skills, written & oral.
• Self motivated team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in supervising the work force.
• Must be proficient in the use of computer and software applications.
