This is a senior IT leadership role for someone who can run the full enterprise IT function end-to-end — strategy, security, service delivery, vendors, and budgets — while still being close enough to the detail to drive outcomes (not slides).
You’ll be the person accountable for keeping the business secure, stable, and scalable: modernising infrastructure and applications where needed, tightening governance, and building a high-performing internal team + vendor ecosystem.
What you’ll own
- IT strategy and roadmap aligned to business growth (12–36 months)
- Cybersecurity posture: policies, risk management, incident response, identity/access, compliance
- Enterprise infrastructure (cloud/on-prem/hybrid), networks, endpoint management, backup/DR
- Business applications: ERP/CRM/HRIS, collaboration stack, integrations, data governance
- Service management: SLAs, ITIL practices, helpdesk performance, user experience
- Vendor and contract management, budgeting, procurement, and cost optimisation
- Team leadership: hiring, performance, capability building, and stakeholder management across the business
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as an IT Director / Head of IT (or Senior IT Manager ready to step up) in a mid-large organisation
- Strong track record leading cybersecurity and governance (not just “IT support”)
- Comfortable in complex stakeholder environments — you can influence, prioritise, and say “no” when needed
- Hands-on understanding of modern enterprise tech stacks (cloud, identity, networking, endpoint, security tooling)
- Strong vendor management and commercial discipline (contracts, renewals, value realisation)
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, government, critical infrastructure)
- ERP transformation / major systems rollout ownership
- ISO 27001, NIST, or equivalent security framework exposure
Package / location
- Dubai-based
- AED 70,000–85,000 per month (depending on experience)
Requirements:
You’re an IT Director who combines big-picture strategy with operational grip. You’ve led enterprise IT functions in environments where uptime, security, and user experience matter, and you’re comfortable being ultimately accountable for the full stack — infrastructure, applications, service delivery, governance, and cyber risk.
You know how to translate business goals into a practical IT roadmap, then actually deliver it: modernising platforms, tightening controls, improving resilience, and building a service culture that the business trusts. You’ve run budgets, negotiated vendor contracts, and you’re commercially sharp — you can spot waste, challenge suppliers, and make sure the company gets value from every renewal and project.
Security isn’t an afterthought for you. You’ve owned cybersecurity posture end-to-end: identity and access, policies and controls, incident response readiness, risk management, and the discipline of documentation and auditability. You’re comfortable working within frameworks and compliance expectations, and you can explain risk in plain English to senior stakeholders without fearmongering or jargon.
You’re a strong leader and operator. You build capable teams, set clear standards, and drive performance through measurable outcomes (SLAs, service metrics, project milestones). You can handle competing priorities, push back when needed, and bring stakeholders with you whether you’re running day-to-day IT operations or leading a major transformation across cloud, ERP/CRM, collaboration tools, and data governance.
Based in Dubai (or ready to be), you’re motivated by roles where you can raise the bar: secure the environment, stabilise delivery, and leave the organisation with a cleaner, more scalable IT foundation than you found.
Salary:
AED 70,000 to 85,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
