We are hiring a detail-oriented MEP Estimator with strong experience in UAE infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tenders, and ensuring compliance with UAE authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1) Review tender documents (BOQ, drawings, specs) and identify risks/gaps
2) Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV & BMS
3) Develop detailed cost estimates for infrastructure/utility projects
4) Conduct site visits to assess project constraints
5) Ensure compliance with authorities such as:
->DEWA
->ADDC
->SEWA
->FEWA
6) Include authority charges & approval costs (Trakhees, Civil Defense, etc.)
7) Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations
8) Negotiate pricing for major equipment (Chillers, Generators, Transformers, etc.)
9) Prepare commercial submissions and support technical alignment
10) Handle post-tender clarifications and internal approvals
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
2) 5+ years UAE experience in MEP estimation (infrastructure preferred)
3) Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations & approvals
4) Experience with Expert Estimator / PlanSwift / CostX / CCS Candy
5) Advanced MS Excel and working knowledge of AutoCAD
