We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Structural Draftsman to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in preparing accurate and detailed structural drawings that comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software based on engineering specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Review and modify drawings as necessary to incorporate design changes or adjustments.
- Ensure all drawings meet local regulations, standards, and safety codes.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafted plans and revisions.
- Assist in the preparation of material lists and structural details to support construction activities.
- Support project teams in troubleshooting design or construction issues related to structural elements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple drawing revisions.
- Familiarity with local building codes and Dubai construction standards is preferred.
