Field Technician

PIPECARE UAE is currently looking for Field Technician to join our Team.

Due to our global focus and international growth, Pipecare is seeking experienced Field Technician to support our continued growth in Europe.
Industry/sector: Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services
Requirements: solution – oriented attitude; hands on approach; disciplined; team player; self-motivated
Responsibilities include:
 Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports
 Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, toolbox and all other required tools for use in the field, etc.     
 Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
 Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations                                                                                                        
 Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with PipeCare QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning
 Coordinate field activities between PipeCare team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties                                                                                 
 Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards
 Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria
 Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PipeCare procedures and operational requirement
 Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.
Qualified Candidates will possess:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant)
Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level
Professional level of English language is a must
 Job requirements:
Ability to travel extensively including international trips
Ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs
Ability to work either independently or within a team to ensure project success
Physical and Mental Requirements:

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
