Job Title: Bus Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated School Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being and maintaining a high level of safety standards. A valid driving license with numbers 3, 5, and 6 is a requirement for this position

Responsibilities:

•    Safely transport students to and from school, following assigned routes and schedules.

•    Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition.

•    Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.

•    Maintain a clean and orderly interior of the bus.

•    Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a professional and courteous manner.

•    Ensure the well-being and safety of students during transit, enforcing appropriate behavior.

•    Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during transportation.

•    Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate authorities.

•    Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and regulations.

•    Demonstrate a strong commitment to the safety and security of all passengers.

 

Qualifications:

•    The candidate should be able to communicate in English, Nepalese & or Hindi.

•    Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

•    Previous experience as a school bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.

•    Good communication and interpersonal skills.

•    Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

•    Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.

•    Physical ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as assist students in boarding and exiting the bus.
