Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join Rosemary Kitchen, a concept dedicated to wellness-focused cuisine. The Sous Chef will play a key role in supporting the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation, all in alignment with Miraval’s culinary philosophy.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chef de Cuisine in menu development, ensuring a balance of nutrition, wellness, and culinary creativity.
Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and operational efficiency.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, portion control, and waste management.
Source and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure the use of fresh, sustainable, and high-quality ingredients.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
Stay updated on wellness and plant-based cuisine trends, bringing innovation and creativity to the menu.
Foster a collaborative and positive kitchen culture, ensuring an efficient and motivated team.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role.
Strong understanding of healthy, plant-based, and wellness-focused cuisine.
Experience in an international, high-end culinary environment, preferably in luxury resorts or wellness retreats.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, with HACCP certification being an advantage.
Passion for holistic wellness, sustainability, and mindful eating.
Exceptional leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
