Job Description
Develop detailed schematics and layouts for Building Management Systems (BMS) that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure alignment on design requirements and project timelines.
Utilize advanced CAD software to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings for system installations and upgrades.
Review and interpret technical specifications and documentation to create comprehensive draughting solutions.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the draughting process.
Conduct field surveys and site inspections to gather relevant data for accurate design and drafting.
Prepare as-built drawings that reflect changes made during the construction phase for future reference and maintenance.
Assist in the selection of materials and components needed for BMS projects, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates and insights on draughting progress and challenges.
Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions to facilitate easy access and collaboration among team members.

Desired Candidate Profile
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in BMS draughting or a similar technical role.
Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant CAD software essential for BMS designs.
Certifications in Building Management Systems or relevant technical qualifications are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation technologies.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics with precision.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all draughting assignments.
