Skill set required :-
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the company. This includes diagnosing and troubleshooting issues and maintaining, upgrading, and installing hardware and software.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with hardware, software or network connectivity
• Maintain, upgrade, and install hardware and software as needed
• Experience with advanced troubleshooting of both wireless and/or data networks (LAN/WAN). Network cabling & setup
• Knowledge of Install & Configure – (AD, DNS, DHCP on Server)
• Knowledge of SAN, and NAS technologies
• Good Knowledge of Operating System – Installation & Configuration(Windows Server, VMware, Windows HyperV, Veeam, Acronis)
• Install, Configure & Troubleshoot Firewalls – Fortinet, Sonicwall, Sophos UTMs & Firewalls with Security Policies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an IT support engineer or equivalent role – Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• UAE Driving License will be an added advantage
