We are looking for an Accountant for a Restaurant Group in Dubai. For this role we are only considering candidates who are now in the UAE working in a restaurant or restaurant group in the UAE.

Role Requirements:
To be considered, you must meet the first 7 criteria:
1. Industry Expertise: You’re currently working as an accountant in a Restaurant or Coffee Shop in the UAE. If you are currently working for a restaurant group with multiple outlets, then this would be an advantage (Experience in other fields won’t cut it – we need your specialized know-how in Hospitality!)
2. Sharp & Alert: You’re always on your game, ready to tackle challenges head-on.
3. Detail-Oriented: Nothing escapes your notice – you’ve got an eagle eye for detail.
4. Tech-Savvy: You know your way around POS systems like a pro.
5. Analytical Mind: You can dive into data, analyze it, and come up with actionable insights.
6.Software: Experience working with Xero is an advantage
7.Know-how: You are able to record all transactions, do financial reporting, VAT returns, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, costing, ...

Responsibilities;
-Financial Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
-Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
-Tax Preparation and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws, preparing tax returns
-Auditing: Reviewing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
-Accounts Payable/Receivable: Managing invoices, payments to suppliers, and the collection of payments from customers.
-Payroll Management: Processing employee salaries, benefits, and deductions, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursement.
-Cost Control and Analysis: Monitoring operational expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
-Internal Controls: Establishing and maintaining financial controls to prevent fraud and ensure the integrity of financial information.
-Manage inventory costs, track sales revenue, and handle POS system financial data.
You would be getting assistance from an outside financial auditor for VAT returns etc and verification of the books
