Job Summary:
The MEP Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. This role includes tendering, analyzing project specifications, coordinating with suppliers, and assisting in bid preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

– Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.
– BOQ Preparation: Develop and maintain comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and specifications.
– Tendering: Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
– Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
– Reporting: Maintain detailed records of estimates and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
– Experience: 2-3 years in MEP estimation or a related field.
– Skills: Proficiency in estimation software, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
