Job Description
Assist in handling and supporting the purchasing and logistics operations within the ISM department.
Oversee the maintenance and service schedules of Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire-Fighting Appliances (FFA) on board vessels.
Support in the preparation of various shipboard manuals, forms, checklists, and reports.
Ensure that all documentation is compliant with international safety management (ISM) codes and company standards.
Provide general administrative support to the ISM department, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience (2 plus years) in a shipping, logistics, or administrative role, preferably within the maritime industry.
Knowledge of ISM codes and maritime regulations is an advantage.
