Our client, a leading construction business specializing in Tower Cranes and Heavy Machinery, is seeking an experienced Deputy Plant Manager proficient in Arabic. This role involves overseeing plant operations, maintenance, logistics, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement cost-effective plans to reduce procurement and maintenance costs of plant equipment and vehicles.
Operational Oversight: Manage plant operations in alignment with organizational policies, ensuring efficient allocation of resources including vehicles, plant equipment, and machinery.
Resource Coordination: Coordinate transportation of resources to construction sites, ensuring adherence to company Quality and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies.
Maintenance Supervision: Supervise repair and maintenance activities for vehicles, plant, and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Collaboration: Work closely with departments to coordinate plant, transportation, staffing, and material resources for project activities.
Quality and HSE Compliance: Enforce adherence to Quality and HSE standards within the plant and transport department, maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements:
Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English with excellent communication abilities.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in the Middle East. Proven experience in tower cranes or heavy machinery maintenance and logistics.
Technical Expertise: SAP Plant Maintenance proficiency is essential.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects, and thorough understanding of Quality and HSE standards.
