Hiring Accountant with VAT and Tax Expertise

About Vibe Education:
Vibe Education, a premier educational institution in the UAE, is dedicated to providing exceptional educational services. We are looking to expand our team with a skilled Accountant who is well-versed in VAT and broader tax regulations in addition to routine accounting tasks.

Role Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and tax compliance, with a strong emphasis on VAT and other tax regulations compliance. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial entries.
Prepare accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and Company Balance sheet .
Manage timely filing and payment of VAT and other tax obligations under UAE law.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to optimize financial operations.
Coordinate with external auditors during routine audits to ensure compliance with legal and financial standards.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, with a focus on VAT and tax laws in the UAE, and apply these updates to our financial practices.
Provide detailed financial analysis and support departmental budgeting and financial planning.
Assist in financial forecasting and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of accounting experience, with significant expertise in VAT and general tax compliance within the UAE.
Expertise in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across various departments.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
