Chief Accountant

Hiring for Chief Accountant - GL for one of our clients.
Experience: 5 to 7 years
Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of IFRSs, experience in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Tax regulations, Accounting  Concepts & Standards, Financial Analysis, Financial Management & Applications, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, and Financial Policies & Procedures.
Salary: up to AED 17,500
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Finance, Accounting with  CFA / CA / CPA/ ACA/ACCA/ /CPA desirable

Visa status : *Sponsor Visa candidates only*

Contract Duration : 3 to 6 months

Key Accountabilities

-Ledger activities for internal & external auditors as & when required.
- To prepare journals directly entered GL/reversed journals in GL and responsible for the accuracy of balances related to Accruals, Prepayments, and Provisions
- To conduct bank reconciliation by checking bank statements against GL and highlighting unusual or long outstanding items.
- To prepare financial statements, and respond related to financial statements, to internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
