Project engineer in Family Amusement Parks and Restaurants (ongoing and new projects)
 
Location: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah

Requirements
 
Must be Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah based and ready for face-to-face interview
Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role in construction management preferably in hotel/restaurant business.

Business trips to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah require consideration of candidates only with their own vehicle and a valid driving license.
Work experience in the UAE is highly desirable
 
 Functions
•      Organizing, planning, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
•      Procurement management for new projects.
•      Communicate with Contractor Company.
•      Provide regular maintenance of operating Parks.
•      Ensure close cooperation with Mall management regarding all construction works of the Parks.
•      Knowledge of drawings used in design and construction
•      Performing quality control measures on budgets, plans, and schedules, including reporting on the status of the project.
•      Implementing the necessary corrective actions after reviewing the engineering tasks.
•      Establishing the specifications for the equipment (kitchen, restaurant and play area equipment) and construction materials needed for the project.
•      Developing a framework for collecting and evaluating data about the project.
•      Ensure compliance with codes, policies, practices, specifications, performance standards, and other aspects of the project.
•      Lead and manage engineering projects, including project planning and resource allocation.
•      Monitor project progress, prepare and present progress reports to management team.
•      Identify potential risks or issues and implement effective solutions.
•      Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
•      In case of emergency (water leakage, ventilation or air conditioning problems, etc.), immediate actions must be taken.

Education and skills
•      Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
•      Experience managing engineering projects or in a project management role.
•      Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
•      Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
•      Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•      Problem-solving mindset.
•      Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and safety guidelines.
